Craft Room Project

My Craft Room Project Inspirational Colors

I am so excited that I finally got a color scheme going ... It took a while and this photo above was what I base the room off of.

But lets get to the beginning. I wanted to have a craft room in our garage. The hub's has a hugh detached garage for his work shop in our back yard. " hugh"    :-)  * I'll post photo later

Later News of the Room.
It is finished, and painted.
I will find photos and post, but it's all messy now. I began putting a little bit here,
a little bit there and before you know it.
Not clean and neat as I would like.
Any crafter knows this to well.
Happy Crafting!!

Memories of Macrame

What memories this inspiration photo brings back. It's all about this Macrame made modern window covering that is absolutely beautiful.   That's when it hit me of my very good friend Jeanine who way back in the time of our youth made Hanging Macrame plant holders. Wow, to only have photo's of what we made back then. Maybe she does, will have to check in with her on this one!!  So here, from Sally England you will just fall in love again with her work and maybe even inspire you to start macrame again.

So I began a search for patterns and look what I found.  Free-Macrame-Patterns
with instructions and photos to make any project you can dream of.
I also saw this owl wall hanging that I strongly remember making. It's pretty cool, not sure it would fit into my home decor now but he is kind of cute.
Well, thanks for stopping by and may all your inspirations become a product of your creative thinking !!

Tennessee Flea Market with Friends

Going to a Flea Market

All ready to go, Joy, Eva and myself on a beautiful Saturday. I am in my Saints shirt to show
my true Black and Gold spirit while visiting with Eva and her husband Marvin for two weeks.

While driving to pick up her grandson the other day I noticed a warehouse that had a sign Flea Market Saturday & Sunday. I quickly asked Eva, have you been there and can we go this weekend. She and I now had a plan and she hasn’t been to that flea market yet. So after some terrible weather in this area to wake to a beautiful sunny Saturday was a gift from God. Our friend Joy joined us and the three of us were off. It was big, but not full. There were many finds and a lot of jewelry but some different crafty venders.

I was all into the Pandora bracelets so that was my first stop. There was the owner of the booth Santa’s Claus’et, Tom aka: Santa, who had a child talking to him when we first walked up making sure he was in deed the real Santa. He assured her he would be busy come end of year but needed to work during the off season. He was a joy to talk with and I got this amazing bracelet I just love. Black and gold for the Saints !!! Geaux Saints!!
Pretty pandora style beads from Santa's Claus'et Booth.

I designed my pandora style bracelet

Cool man leg end table. Who would not just want to run out and buy this!!

Eva seemed to like this doll that leans on the wall. I haven't seen one in years.

A cute idea with Mason Jars and candle holders

Just when you think you couldn't do another thing with Mardi Gras beads, lookie here.
 A bead lamp shade

I thought nothing else would be a find when a booth had glassware stacked that was made from various bowls, plates, votive cups, candle holders and so on. It was interesting and I’m thinking this is what I would like to redo in my own version.

When my daughter-in-law Holly finds out what she and son Chris are having, I can order
a cute dress or boy outfit. :-)

Here a crafter used old quilts to make into decorative glove and purse wall hangings.

We talked to a few more vendors watching our spending and decided to return again Sunday when we got a call from Eva's hubby saying he was making grilled salmon, roasted asparagus and pesto covered cheese stuffed pasta shells. And to top it off her son Gene stopped in for dinner.

The day ended with us taking in an oldie but goodie movie on Netflix, Wrangler from 1988. It put Marvin fast asleep. Eva and I stayed awake so I guess you could call it more of a chick flick from 1988 then a guys horse wrangling story.

Tomorrow brings more visiting, checking out a new church for us to start and then maybe back to the flea market to pick up a few other finds we had our eyes on.

Have a blessed weekend.
